Timeless landscaping for a classic estate in Baldwin Park

This project was designed to complement the home's elegant architecture through tailored landscape and lighting design. Clean lines, layered greenery and warm architectural lighting were used to enhance the home's symmetry while preserving a timeless, understated feel.

Entry

From the street, the landscape creates a strong sense of arrival. Structured boxwood hedging, manicured lawn and sculpted topiaries provide balance and rhythm against the home's classic facade and covered balconies. Every planting was intentionally selected and placed to reinforce the architecture rather than compete with it.

Inner courtyard

In the courtyard, the landscape softens the hardscape and creates a resort-like atmosphere around the pool. The simplicity of the layered greenery and architectural planters allows the pool and arched steel doors to remain the focal point.

Landscape lighting

Strategic uplighting was integrated throughout the property to highlight architectural details, create depth at night and extend the ambiance well beyond sunset. The lighting design focused on warmth, subtlety and precision, illuminating specimen plantings, accenting the home's columns and archways, and creating soft reflections across the water without overwhelming the space.

Outcome

The result is an exterior environment that feels equally refined during the day and the evening hours. The project reflects our approach to luxury residential landscapes: intentional, architectural, and designed to feel timeless for years to come.
